OK, We've all had a lovely safe holiday season, Grandma Boyack is home or due home today after a successful heart operation (Yay! We are so very happy for you), the election is behind us, the new year has begun, is it fair to ask for Spring to come a few months early? The white stuff is pretty and good for the skiers and our drinking water supply but really, do we need to have it continue past January 10th? We asked some of our wisest friends, Maddy, Beau, Kate, Stuart, Andy, Ashley and they all agree that we are ready for warmer temps and greener trees.

We don't want to sound ungrateful, we are, but come on.

Yesterday, Jennifer from the Utah Food Bank got back to us after many attempts of trying to contact them. We are excited to say that we are scheduled to volunteer there on a weekly basis! We have wanted from the beginning to make volunteering a part of our program. We love our baking, crafts, library, bowling and other fun weekly activities but have wanted to include volunteering as one of them. Each Thursday morning from 10 AM to 11:30 we will be helping sort food.

As Lifelong Learning Center grows and more people get involved, we want to assure everyone that our desire is to continue to create a quality, caring, fun, safe, nurturing environment for all who participate. A place where our friend's WANT to come and spend some happy hours together. As we start into our 6th month we look forward to the future as a facility and can't wait to see what the new year will bring us... may the force be with us all.
