We have had some delightful days here at Lifelong Learning Center. We have been tweaking our menu a bit and making it more interesting. We have a beautiful new computer thanks to Doug & Jan, Beau's parents. It's exactly what "the doctor ordered" for our morning and afternoon leisure time. The kids were all so excited when they realized it was installed. Thank you thank you thank you Jan & Doug! We are so fortunate.
We are patiently waiting for the weather to change so we can use our new red 3 wheeler (bike/trike). It is a gift from Mark & Nancy, Kate's parents. Our parents are the best. Stacy and I never have to worry about the kids when we say goodbye to them in the afternoon, we know they are so loved and adored at home. It makes our hearts happy.
Mondays are fun because we talk about our weekends and the kids love to tell us of their adventures. We also plan our meals for the week in detail and then shop together...shopping has never been so enjoyable. Tuesday baking & bowling day is still a big favorite. The scores at bowling have gone from 40's & 50's to 90's & 100's. We have been walking vigorously on Wednesday afternoons with the Food bank in the mornings on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Thursdays afternoon is our beloved Library day!! Such a favorite. Fridays are...well just like Fridays should be, great fun.
