We had a great week last week. Stuart got home from his family vacation looking rested and happy. Welcome back buddy. On Tuesday we made granola. Can't believe it's been over a year since we made it last. Everyone loves "baking day". That afternoon we bowled some of our best scores ever! Wednesday afternoon we went to Trolley Square where we walked for 25 minutes. We hugged the inner wall of both floors & went up & down the stairs several times. We all worked up a bit of a sweat. It's a beautiful place & a great place to walk. On our way we saw a taffy puller going full bore. What a cool sight. At the other end of the Square at another candy store we watched a young man put sticks in about 60 Granny Smith apples through a big picture window. He was cooking caramel to his right & proceeded to make caramel apples! So cool! Perfect timing we thought.
Friday we went to Hardware Ranch which is in a canyon south east of Logan. We were able to get on a double horse drawn wagon & go into the center of a herd of about 300 wild elk. They were eating hay. A few of them made some really weird noises. Many looked us straight in our faces. Really beautiful. We got some terrific pictures.
Saturday Stacy & I got to go watch 3 of our Lifelong Learning friends bowl in the Special Olympics Bowling tournament. They were Chad, Cameron & Katrice. They all 3 did very well & were having a ball. It was great to see other familiar friendly faces from South valley. The winter months are passing by happily.

I am so glad you post because it fills in the blanks of the stories that Andy tells me. Do you have hardware ranch pictures? Hopefully, the weather held up for you that day. You are all such troopers!!
